"The Dirty Dozen Estate Planning Mistakes" and being financially prepared for raising kids, entering retirement and handling life's curveballs! Presented in a fun, interactive quiz format with prizes, a raffle, pizza & refreshments at Mellow Mushroom's Cary location! Hosted by Jeni Snider, Esq. of Snider Law, PLLC,  Nicole Guernsey of Equitable Advisors and Sally Mackie of Relevate Real Estate!

You'll learn:

* Default probate laws in NC and why you'll want to avoid them
* How to make sure your assets go to the people you love
* How to secure your children's future
* Why you need to worry about incapacity
* Reasons you shouldn't add a child to your deeds or bank accounts
* The difference between a will and a living trust
* Pitfalls with DIY solutions
All guests will receive a special "Golden Ticket" offer from Snider Law, PLLC and a raffle ticket for a chance to win a gift basket.
We hear tragic stories of families who fail to plan properly or, even worse, think they have it all taken care of but when it becomes necessary to rely on those plans, they simply do not work.
Don't be one of the many people who never thought it would happen to them or pretended they had plenty of time to think about it.
Rest easy knowing you have no question about what it takes to ensure the well-being and care of your family …

Presented by Jeni Snider, Esq., owner of Snider Law, PLLC, Nicole Guernsey of Equitable Advisors and Sally Mackie of Relevate Real Estate

Jeni Snider is the owner of Snider Law, PLLC, an estate planning law firm serving the triangle area in person and all of North Carolina, virtually. Jeni focuses on educating clients (to understand their options and avoid common estate planning mistakes), building relationships and practicing with a heart of service. From New York City originally, Jeni received her undergrad degree at Dartmouth College and her law degree at UC Berkeley School of Law.  Learn more about Jeni Snider and read her firm story by clicking here.

On a personal note, Jeni has 3 teenagers who often join her in volunteering in the community with both National Charity League and Boys Team Charity, and a mini goldendoodle named Daisy who thinks she is really the one in charge. She loves to travel (near and far), spending time with friends and watching true crime documentaries.

Nicole Guernsey is a fully licensed Financial Advisor with clients across the US. Nicole’s primary goal in her career as a Financial Advisor is to provide approachable, holistic financial guidance to people who wouldn’t originally consider themselves in need of an advisor or feel qualified to work with one. Her experience in corporate tech, from startups to public companies, motivated her to find a way to help those employees find more freedom in their lives, more autonomy from their corporate shackles, and more confidence in their financial strategies. Nicole is especially focused on being a resource for women, to help them feel heard and know that they can live on their own terms. Learn more about Nicole here:

She has lived in Wake Forest, N Raleigh, Five Points, Fuquay and for the past 27+ years Cary. The last 19 years she has lived within walking distance to Cary High School, her husband's alma mater!
